Mia Callahan

Mia was with the Rainier Institute for its first three years- first as a member, then as director of economics and business, and finally as editor in chief. During her time with RI, she focused on macroeconomic trade, first through a piece on global climate accounting, and then through a data science project on India-PNW trade relations. 
After graduating in 2025 with a degree in ACMS and economics, she started a research assistant position at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in D.C.
